Can Psychiatrists Really “Cure” Homosexuality?

Same sex desires has been strong and unchangeable for decades which made a Christian Coalition Founder Pat Robertson and a televangelist pastor Jerry Falwell help promoting a program that dedicated to convert homosexuals way into heterosexuals that fear God. Based on book “Homosexuality and Perspective” and research in 1979 by the Master of Sex, William Masters and Virginia Johnson, there were 70% possibility o convert them in 5 years. The result was amazing, from 67 Homosexuals, both men and women, only 14 people that did not make it. Later, after the book was published, A clinic’s top associate, Robert Kolodny doubt them because there were no prove at all and when she met his wife, Johnson, she also have the same suspicious to the conversion case. So, she tells the publisher not to publish the book until future news but it was already too late. Decades later, Johnson said that the book was bad and she hopes to rewrite it. In the end, many real surveys from a lot of psychiatrist in British tell us that many groups of them cannot change homosexuality to heterosexuality. The therapy just won’t work and can actually cause harm.
